Alle steden bestaan uit een mix van huiseigenaren en huurders, volgens het American Census Bureau heeft 58,6% van de Amerikanen een eigen huis en 30,4% huurt in het vierde kwartaal van 2020. In steden is het aantal huurders meestal hoger vanwege de hoge waarde van onroerend goed en de toestroom van jonge mensen die na hun studie naar stedelijke gebieden trekken om aan de slag te gaan.

Stacker heeft een lijst samengesteld van de provincies met de meeste huurders in Florida met behulp van gegevens van het U.S. Census Bureau. Provincies worden gerangschikt op het percentage woningen dat wordt ingenomen door huurders vanaf de 5-jaarsramingen van 2019.
